Born from the Velar road shoe project, making the right changes, we are proud to have created a shoe for the most discerning demands of the mountain bike world. Nox, while keeping a simple design with new particular colors, builds a distinctive look and enhances your competitive quality by channeling it’s road cousin the Velar. The double BOA® IP1 dial and the EFC 2.0 closure configuration distribute the clamping force uniformly giving a wrap-around feeling without no pressure points. Nox is made with a particular texturized application on the toe cap and the heel for the protection for todays riding demands. The new XECARB® 30 sole chosen for use on the Nox is the perfect balance between high performance, high rigidity index, lightness and sure footed grip. The micro drilling on the upper allows airflow to get through the shoe maintaining an optimal temperature during each ride. The shoe comes with our Performance Insole capable of customizing the fit to the arch.
DESCRIPTION
BOA® Fit System:
The BOA® Fit System delivers even pressure distribution and better power transfer to improve your ride. The BOA® Fit System contain three integral parts: a micro-adjustable dial, superstrong lightweight laces, and low friction lace guides.
The double BOA® IP1 dial features incremental adjustment when the dial is under tension allowing you to dial in fit during use. The turn to tighten, turn to loosen functionality helps accommodate the natural swelling of feet that occurs during riding.
EFC ERGONOMIC FITTING CONCEPT:
EFC stands for Ergonomic Fitting Concept, our research program focused to make products that respect the human anatomy and enhance its features.
EFC 2.0:
Bi-directional self-centering closure configuration. The direction of the laces give a wrap-around feeling once set up. The clamping force has been multiplied and distributed uniformly giving a perfect fit without any pressure points. Never introduced before on the market.
AIR SYSTEM CONCEPT:
During physical activity our body needs to breathe, and from this basis we developed the Air System Concept. Through laser micro drilling, ventilation channels and other innovation, airflow gets routed where it’s needed maintaining the body temperature at optimal levels during each ride.

With an extensive research of exclusive finishes and the proper choice of materials we have created Soft Touch Tech. The surface treatment ensures our products have a unique look that enhances the design and allows for easy maintenance.
The High Stiffness STT (Soft Touch Technology) Microfiber is characterized by being wear resistant, stable, lightweight, waterproof and eco-compatible. It is subjected to hydro treatment, reducing the water absorption and features a strong anti-mold characteristic. The HS Microfiber is Oeko-Tex certified, does not contain hazardous substances and complies with strict European standards. To increase performance in race and improve the endurance in training, this insole has a thermoformable insert. Thanks to this solution it is possible to customize the fit to the individuals arch and achieve a more natural and comfortable support. Increasing the stability reduces internal movement and the risk of skin irritation.
