CINELLI

Rich Sanders

"These guys did a great job on my Cinelli gravel bike. I'd highly recommend them. I asked for advice on upgrading some parts; they listened to what I was saying, made good recommendations, and even sourced exactly the right components for me before fitting. Impeccable communication, and really honest straight-forward billing once the job was done. I'll definitely use them again."

BIANCHI

Giovanni Di Rupo

"This is not just your normal outlet with a ton of bikes, but a true workshop, where tech staff are meticulous with frame building and servicing and dedicated to biking. The following day I collected the bike, and to my surprise, it looked like new again, exceeding my expectations. A huge thank you to Ben and David. Recommended for new custom bikes or servicing your old ride."

PINARELLO

Dario K

"From the moment I stepped into the shop I knew I came to the right place for my Pinarello bike. I wanted to upgrade my bike from Shimano to Campagnolo, and what a great place to come. The passion for the bike from all the stuff, you can feel, across the room. Ali, Ben and David were so helpful with their professional advice, very friendly and made me feel so comfortable to have a chat with them."

  • Includes : Every component is detailed and reinstalled during a Strip and Rebuild that requires up to 8 hours to complete.
  • Details : After removing the components from the frame, each part is thoroughly checked, cleaned, replaced or repaired, lubed and reinstalled. The frame is cleaned and polishing protection is applied.
  • Expect : Annually adding a strip and rebuild will increase the longevity of parts. Any irregularities in parts or the frame will be found during a strip and rebuild. A strip and rebuild is appropriate for either of these clients as an annual service.

At times, if you're requiring precise and smooth gearing but you invested in a lower quality bike, you'll require upgrades of which we can recommend at the time of drop off. Please ciontact with any enquiries.

I have had two different bikes serviced at Chainsmith and bought merchandise from their store. Mechanics are the most knowledgeable I have encountered and explained all work and parts required before they commenced.Completely fixed long running issues others had failed to identify. Finished on time and always phoned to let me know. Excellent service and friendly as well.
