High-performance minimalism weighing only 120g and created with versatility in mind. This summer weight jersey is a high-performance garment meant for challenging rides or where the range of riding conditions is often great temperatures ranging between 15°-40°c.

Ideally suited to the ride where heart rate averages 100-180bpm alongside 8-80km/h range of riding speeds.

The jersey is constructed from a polyester microfilament (UniqueFabricL1)  Designed for its breathability (given naturally by the fabric’s structure), superfast drying speed, lightest weight and ergogenic fit, this Jersey produces the requisite amount of versatility required for extreme summer climbing and descending.

In fact sensitive riders will immediately notice the extra comfort given the slightly thicker and softer fabric. This fabric in no way comprising breathability as it pulls the moisture away from the body far more efficiently than the paper-thin fabrics used in other true lightweight jerseys.

The slightly thicker fabric offers significantly greater protection to the body while riding long descents immediately after arduous climbs.

The jersey’s construction is itself a piece of advanced sartorial engineering, employing a new jersey pattern and kimono-esque sleeve design which minimizes the use of seams  (no frontal facing for increased aerodynamics) and an ergonomic female specific ‘pre-shaped’ fit (note the way the jersey ‘falls’ into a riding position even when unworn, on a hanger), which is snug without being constrictive, thanks to the fabric’s elasticity.

The minimal look of the jersey is accentuated by the entirely new Q36.5 proprietary invisible pocket system, which replaces the traditional 3-pocket patch found on all other jerseys.

The Pinstripe PRO jersey has been updated this season with a new cut pattern with minimal use of seams and features quick-drying 3-dimensional fabric to keep you fresh during tough sessions. The Pinstripe fabric wicks moisture 50% faster than any other polyester fabric, so you'll have to be really fast if you want to keep up.

But it's at speed that the Pinstripe short sleeve jersey really comes into its own. Thanks to the roughened surface texture and seamless front, the jersey glides through the wind at speeds between 40 and 59 km/h with a plus in aero. The addition of silver threads throughout the jersey provides additional anti-static and anti-electrosmog properties. The jersey is tailored for position on the bike and features our invisible pocket system, laser cut sleeves and a smooth front zipper.

The jersey L1 Pinstripe is constructed from a polyester microfilament (Unique Fabric L1), which now contains a pure silver thread. Yes you heard it, 2% of the fabric composition is silver. Thats the equivalent to about 2 g of silver per jersey. The silver is subtly visible, in a light ‘pintstriping’ running vertically through the weft of the fabric, which conjugates the need for breathability (given naturally by the fabric’s structure), superfast drying speed, lightest weight and ergogenic fit in order to produce the requisite amount of versatility required for the extremes of intense summer climbing and descending. In fact sensitive riders will immediately notice the extra comfort given the slightly thicker and softer fabric which, while in no way comprising breathability, pulls the moisture away from the body far more efficiently than the paper-thin fabrics used in other true lightweight jerseys. This offers significantly greater protection to the body while riding long descents immediately after arduous climbs.

Why the silver thread?

The introduction of the silver thread may be understood as a further fine-tuning of the fabric’s original raison d’être in wich the extraordinary natural properties of this material are carefully exploited in a performance-wear context.When activity becomes intense and the body emits an excess of heat and moisture with must be dealt with through conduction, evaporation and convection, the fabric instead benefits from silver’s high thermal conductivity (the greatest of any element present on earth: the silver) Thermal conductivity refers to silver’s ability to distribute heat quickly and evenly across its surface (like the silver spoon in a cup of hot tea, accelerating conduction of the body’s heat to the surface from wich it can evaporate. Evaporation itself is then accelerated by silver’s high level of conduction in a humid environment.

The Salopette Miles Gregarius represents Q36.5’s re-construction of the ‘traditional’ modern bib short feeling – after several years of research into the extremes of the future, with the L1 and Vented models.

While the Gregarius is designed for riders who are more comfortable in a traditional feeling bib short, it is in no way ‘normal’, integrating as it does a great deal of the innovations from the L1 and Vented models.

The Gregarius employs the same FUSION chamois that sits alone in the industry found on the Vented short; the same proprietary tubular brace construction but with a slightly modified combination of mesh and high density polyamide rather than 100% polyamide, and the Vectorial Elasticity provided by the lumbar support panel which is made from identical fabric to all other Q36.5 bib shorts and tights.

The most significant change regards the return to the use of a knitted fabric (the L1 and Vented are the only bib shorts in the world to exclusively use high-density woven fabrics in their construction), in this case a low volume flat knit fabric with robust surface and extremely fast drying times.

The end result is a combination of the groundbreaking technologies and material applications found in Q36.5 flagship models the L1 and Vented, but with softer knitted fabrics and silicon leg grippers (which themselves are, in this man's opinon, still significantly more comfortable than any he has previously used).

The proprietary fabrics used in Q36.5 clothing function optimally when the fit is snug against the body and it is an inherent design element of the brand. This closeness and pre-shape cut lends the ergogenic qualities that enable the fabrics to better support and stabilise the body, but this closeness is never at the expense of comfort and there is a notable freedom of movement when adopting the riding position.

The Q36.5 Gregarius Men's Bib Short is best suited to riders who prefer a familiar, traditional, bib short model but are uninterested in the decadent extras or ‘fashion- fee’ that other high end brands constrain their customers to pay for, together with a comfortable, good quality, no-nonsense bib short - which in reality is all they actually want.
